Karting. Tips needed.
Discussion
Karting supremos.....I'm going Karting next week at three sisters, outdoor, 1km track, 70mph karts. 2 hour endurance, teams of 3.
I've karted a few times, including at 3 sisters. I've also competed in Motorsports 750MC/Caterham/etc - but always keen to understand tricks with Karting.
Trail Braking/Lean out on cornering/Leaning back on braking/bounce on acceleration/..... anything else??
Thanks

Yes they were.
Evening went well, postponed 2 weeks due to bad weather. Karts are new single engined ones....but .....have to say they weren't as good as the old ones.
Our team had one Kart blow up, the 2nd had one of the rear wheels come loose and the third the seat came loose (mid lap), one of the other cars also blew up and another dropped oil on the braking point of the last 180 degree corner!! Also the performance difference between these karts (from each other) was noticeable compared to the last ones.
Still a good night though.
