I have a Tiger Super Six which was registered back in 2002 (and is on a 52 ) plate. That's the good news.

The bad news is that it hasn't moved for around 7-8 years and as a result needs a complete rebuild, something which I am planning to start when we move house later this year, but I am not sure where I stand regarding the process of getting it back on the road.

As it has been previously registered, is it "only" required an MOT or as it is a kit car are other procedures like IVA applicable?

It currently has a pinto 2L and I intend to swap this for a Duratec (probably), needs a new rear axle and I wouldn't be surprised to find the chassis needs significant work once I get into the detail, so by the time I've finished the rebuild it would be like Trigger's Broom!

An MOT to get back on the road given this amount of rebuild, seems like a bit like of a cop out when compared to new cars having to go through IVA first!

Thanks in advance. I've been a long time away from the Kit Car scene and it seems to have changed a lot in that time, not to mention getting a lot quieter unfortunately.
