Found this on YouTube of a stunning E-Type Jag kit car (a Wildcat). Probably one of the nicest examples of this particular kit car I've seen, just a pity so many don't look as good. This particular car is featured in an old club magazine I have from a few years ago, and I believe the owner paid about 16k for it.

Not sure about the ride height though, could do with lowering abit, and those circular things attached to the bonnet look odd. Besides that, this is as good as any Challenger E-Type or any real E-Type imo, and know doubt a fraction of the cost to buy and cheaper to run.

I think I know what you mean about the bonnet rippling, but is that just because it's fibreglass and has a fibreglass look to it?. How is the rippling caused as I've never heard of this term before on a car?.

I've heard people point out the bonnet gaps on these kit cars saying they don't look right, but I really haven't noticed, and likely neither anyone else has, unless you're a real expert on these things. With the ridiculous amount of money it costs for a decent or semi-decent repspray (4-6k plus? lol), I doubt the owner of a kit car E-type is gonna want to spend that kind of money when all he's wanted to do all his life is to own one and drive, not be shoved into a heated garage throughout most of the year only to come out every blue moon.

Anyone know why the rear lights don't look right?. It appears to me that there has been some alterations to the body, maybe so that the lights will fit correctly. Has there been filler added?. I've seen one a two Wildcats like this. There's a rather lovely Wildcat for sale on carandclassic for about £14,000.
