Hey everyone,

Just wanted to pop my head in and show you what I've been up to recently with making my own car design come to life.

It's called the HART Bellicose and is based on an E46 BWM 3 Series Convertible.

It will end up as a two seater and (with any luck) look like an exotic supercar kind of thing.

It's a work in progress and the design and shape changes daily when I see it starting to look wrong, so don't judge the car until it's finish (then you can tell me it's st). I'm aiming to have the car complete by May 2020. At the moment I'm just building the buck to take moulds from so don't worry, all the foam you will see is not a permanent feature!

If there is enough interest here (and minimal flaming lol) I'll also post the full build diary here as it progresses.

Nick

Hey thanks for the reply.

I've not personally made moulds before but a friend is going to help with that process who is extremely experienced in taking moulds from cars and other things (did it for a living for many years). So I'm hoping I have that area covered. He also has fibreglass chop gun spray system which will help a lot.

For the fairings I'll keep your suggestion in mind if I fall into trouble getting them right. Any tips like that are always welcome and will no doubt help me a lot!
