Petrol Tank Sender Identification Help

I am trying to identify a petrol tank sender from an unidentified tank in my kit car. The tank is in good nick but the sender is knackered. Could I send/post a photo to help ID it?

Who is Neil chambers? What would you reckon is the relevant section? Can you tell I’m a total novice on pistonheads. Hoping someone can point me in the right direction.

The car is a Rickman Ranger, short wheelbase. It’s being restored by a couple of mates of mine. I’m going to call them tomorrow to try and get a photo of the tank. Engine is a 1.6 pinto ford, which is running sweetly now. I bought another Rickman a couple years ago and we’re sacrificing that for parts. The sender is from the tank in my original car, which they found to be knackered. The tank is A1 OK. But we are struggling to identify the tank for certain.

Thanks for all your info. It could well be useful I have noted it. I have just been told that the sender was taken off the top of the tank. Which confirms that it is escort van!
