Tracking down my Marlin Roadster

Stupidly in 2011 I sold my Marlin Roadster to Sovereign cars, they then sold it to a customer in either France, Germany or Belgium. Sovereign can't give me any details of who they sold it too however I have a picture of it on Belgium plates.
I would like to buy it back as it has great sentimental value to me and my family.
I would welcome any advice on how you go about tracing a car in any of these countries or if anyone knows of any informations of its location.
The car is quite distinctive been Black with an original Lotus Twincan mated to a Ford type 9, red carpets and silver Minilite wheels, I have attached a picture of it.
If anyone can help I would be very grateful and would be more than will to recompense you for your time.

This link is for one of the largest group of classic car lovers in Belgium. It might be worth posting your question on there. I've never seen the car at a meet (I also have a black Marlin with Triumph straight six).

It might also be worth contacting BBC Cars near to Antwerp. They are THE people to contact regarding British cars in Belgium, and could know the owner.

The Kapaza watermark on this shot is from a (now defunct) website selling all sorts of second-hand stuff. I just googled it and it merged with www.2dehands.be in May 2017, so the picture you have dates from before this. Suggests that the car must have been for sale at some time on the site.

ETA: The number plate in that picture may not be much help as number plates are linked to an owner, not a vehicle. If the vehicle was sold, the chances are that the number plate was scrapped from the system, unless the owner transferred it to another classic car. "O" plates can only be used on classics - it stands for "oldtimer".

I have friends who may be in a position to look up that number plate to trace the owner, but I don't know whether it's legal to do so. I can ask them tomorrow.
