Designed by the same chap who designed the 525s. Its alot older still a nice motor though, just needs someone to finish it off as it is only part built. Its due to go in an auction on 22/08.2006. As far as i can gather it has a jag V12 engine in it.

It looks like the 525s grew out of the Deltayn Pegasus designed by Richard Oakes as a "Cobra for the nineties" based on Jaguar components (hence the V12). Deltayn moved to France in the early nineties and had ideas of producing the cars fully built.

Check out www.team.net/www/ktud/deltayn.html for a bit more detail

The newer Parradine went the same way as the Pegasus - out of production. In fact only one 525S was ever built. Don't know how many Pegasus got made but they had two on display at one of the kit car shows many years ago. Looked very well made, but not sure what sort of market there's likely to be these days - though would quite like one myself if I had the money.

Had a dig in my photo collection and finally found a photo of the Pegasus, which if I've done this right should be below.

Pretty good looking car overall, though always found the front to be a bit too blunt. Be better lower/sharper like a Griffith or Chimera.

Also found a pic of Parradine's previous attempt at an upmarket GT convertible, which used Jag suspension and Rover V8. Not bad from the front, but back end wasn't too good.

Good dig Graham! thanks that clears some things...then there must be more then one paradine
I must say I like the front, at least on the picture...make it more sharp and it looks like a Datsun 260 otherwise not bad eighter though...

The Other paradine I have never seen, but that must be the one mentioned earlyer? the front looks oke, a bit Aston Martin Lagonda with those lights but seen from here ti the rear you could be right about that, the lines does not prromise a wise ass

Anyway, great result in findings...if i remember correct there was also a paradine with a elephant in the logo? like this?

I've just discovered this site & forum specifically the references to the PMC Pegasus. I currently own one of these and have done so for quite a few years.

I'd be interested to hear from anyone else who either owns one or knows someone that does!

I dont have any photos on an accessible web site & not sure if it's possible to upload pictures directly to this forum??

I'll try and sort something out, I'm sure there were some of my car on a site somewhere, just need to locate the link. However, the photo of the blue Pegasus in this forum is pretty much the same, mine being silver.

Holy thread resurection Batman!!!

Saw this and thought i'd share the wealth;

http://www.classiccarsforsale.co.uk/classic-car-pa...

An interesting story behind the Pegasus, bear in mind that shape was from 1988/89 it was ahead of its time and compared to the Griffith and Chimaera that came later, you have to wonder where PW got his inspiration from, i did hear a conspiracy theory from JP but thats another story.

I found an old copy of Kit Cars International (The first edition as well - September 1989) which had a feature on this car. That led me to this post so I thought I'd scan in the pages and let you all have a look.

Regards
Craig.
