space frame VW replacement chassis plans

Not sure I would use a corvette front end... I'd still like to find some plans for a rear engine tube frame beetle replacement.
In looking for inspiration I came across this:

Obviously I'm not going to steal his design, but I am certianly drawn to the look and feel of it. I'd need to redraw it with more of a P-car look and feel, and I would retain the 'all-road' style and build it with that criteria. A Dakar like inspiration.
A Rorty chassis, with mods to allow more wheel travel and a bit higher ride height would be doable I guess/suppose?? thoughts ??
