First time out competing in the TVRCC Sprint Championship. What a fantastic day. The car performed perfectly although the driver was probably a tad cautious .
My main objective was to complete the day without binning or breaking it - so objective achieved.
I was the slowest car in class but for my first event I'm OK with that. Now looking forward to my next event at Silverstone (Stowe circuit) June 3rd. Already thinking of the things I could do to the Vixen to eek out a few tenths (other than changing the driver).

As Jes says, it's just suit, helmet & gloves. The only car mods I had to do was fit a race seat as the standard Vixen seat has no head restraint. The seat also had to have stronger mountings through the floor. A tow hitch front & back with stickers are required and an ignition off sticker.. Finally an engine breather catch tank. - All pretty straight forward really.
Tyres wise, I'm currently running on some fairly old 1a's on the standard rims. Little traction but good fun.At some point I'll put a set of new rims (hopefully slighter rounder than the originals) and a set of better tyres - 1a's or 1b's, now that's a question I need to get my head around.
