I've just purchased a right hand drive 2500M in black after many years of looking (not very hard).

It's MOT'd and in ok condition but I'm treating it as a project and a keeper. It has not history though which I find very odd.
It was traded against a new car, which again seems very unusual so I wondered if anyone out there knows the car and could help me build up some history on it.

I've just bought it in Northamptonshire and it was registered in June 1972 according to the V5, hence K plate.

I don't have any good pictures yet but will share some when I get it.

Very nice, they always look good with chrome bumpers and bonnet side vents.

I looked on the GOV.UK website check mot history where it says first registered on 1st Jan 1971.
Also last mot 26 April 2018 with 54,765 miles. Maybe it had a private reg and then was re-registered with the "K" plate which is about period correct.
For a small sum you can request from DVLA the history of past owners which will help you with it's past.

I hope you can find history on your car
Alan
Cheers, will give it a go.
I love the chrome and the T slot alloys smile

Yes, plan to restore. Hopefully get the chassis out and restore over the winter and aim to get it running again next summer. Then continue as a rolling restoration.
