Hi,
I'm on then look out for a TVR project car from 60's/70's for myself and have not been successful to date so thought I'd ask here among the knowledgable. Nirvana for me would be a Vixen bodied car, 2500M or possibly a 3000M. The condition of any available cars (medium restoration to basket case) isn't really an issue but one that is all there or as near as complete would be my preference. I have been looking at the obvious websites for availability already but can't see anything in the UK that hasn't been restored already. Any assistance or leads gratefully received.
Regards.

Moto/GAjon,
Thanks for your thoughts and comments. I've had a few TVR's but my earliest memory of a TVR was an early Vixen back in '76 and it has stayed with me. I don't have any of the desire for an S or Wedge car that I do for those earlier chrome bumper cars (less so for later M's). There are some very nicely maintained/restored UK cars on PH etc that I could afford but don't need the premium of race preparation or FIA papers etc. This is more my desire to regenerate an early simple classic to my taste. I'm in no rush and will consider any viable projects out there; I missed the 2500M auctioned this week while away on hols.
This is an image as close to my distant memory is I've seen. Love it...
