M Series Kerb Weight

Hi all, has anyone actually weighed their M series? I'm particularly interested in the later 3.0 V6 enginec cars (I have a '78 3000M with OD). Anyone with any info they are prepared to share?

Yep, seems to be quite a range depending on who you want to believe. Have seen just under 900kg upto 1050kg quoted but I guess some could actually be Kent engine numbers & I've no clue where the Triumph 6 cylinder & accompanying gearbox ranks vs the Essex. I'd guess the Essex is worst case & the all iron gearbox + bellhousing only making matters worse!
