Need Mk 2a paperwork ooer

Might have a use for a Grantura Mk 2a logbook. have located a restoration project without anything checkable on the cheap.

Well, looking at the prices these cars fetch, take DG's usual offerings, "Bag of rusty parts, no engine, needs new chassis, doors missing £4000". What a joke!! These cars are getting very very expensive now and for what? I would not pay £10000 for a running 2a grantura. It seems to be beyond its real worth. However, I have found one for CHEAP, it is not stolen but suffers from having its chassis replaced with a later model, rather like another topic here. The current V5 shows a Mk 4 car. It is 99% ok apart from this slipup. Back when it was done about 20 years ago, this was of no consequence, now however it reflects the car as a fraud, which is one reason it is cheap. It also has an MGA TC engine in it which is totally wrong. What the deal is here, if you wanted to buy that car with the correct V5, with a wrong engine, you would be looking at about 10x the price. Now we are talking eh? I imagine a lot of these 2a documents are accounted for, however sombody may have a total basket case for sale for a decent price. Not £4000 for what amounts to a pile of bits.
