A lot of classics owners I have spoke to have given up going to TVRCC regional meets as there are few, if any, classics owners in attendance. Owners of modern TVRs, although a nice crowd, often don't want to talk about the same things a classics owners ( the whole stocks and shares vs trunnions thing). This isn't the case in all regions I know.
However, in any one regions there ARE classics owners so it makes sense to have a big push to get them out of the woodwork.
I have manged to coral a few M owners to come down and join me at the Dunton Green meet near Sevenoaks (junction 5 of M25) on Monday 28th July. The Rose & Crown, Dunton Green is the venue, any time from 7.30pm onwards. www.streetmap.co.uk/newmap.srf?x=551317&y=157224&z=5&sv=551317,157224&st=4&mapp=newmap.srf&searchp=newsearch.srf
Any other Classic TVR drivers care to join us? It is very easy to get to, just off the M25 so should attract plenty of punters, and you are guarenteed at least 3 M's to look at! I love to gaze at old TVR's!
So get your self down to Sunny Kent, maybe we can get a good pre 80 and wedge turn out???

Nick Smith is the RO for this region (pistonheads handle "NCS")

It was a good show and 40+TVRs.
BUT, and I blame you personally Kris ;-) just the aforementioned 3 M's turned up. A nice bunch in NE Kent and I think will go again. Lets make this a regulat pre 80 haunt.

HAving said that though, a mystery red vixen was seen in the area by several attendees. i think this chap may have gotton there a bit early, seen no older cars and gone. If only you had stayed around a few moments sir, as we weren't far behind and would have loved to have had a pour over you car.
