This may be a bit late for some people but this Sunday and Monday is the Gold Cup Historic Race Meeting at Oulton Park. Last year this meeting was probably the second best historic racing of the season(Goodwood Revival takes some beating). This year should be better because it is also the 50th anniversary of Oulton Park itself.
This is the meeting which used to be Coys Historic Festival but has now been migrated from boring flat Silverstone to the beautiful Cheshire circuit.
There will be a dedicated display area for TVR and we will have some interesting exhibits ranging from my old banger(s),Tuscan V6 (which is featured in next months Classic Cars magazine head to head with the T350C) 3000s's, twinturbo 500 Griff, 2x 1800S's The one and only Tasmin Turbo to the Speed 12 and obviously many others.
We have arranged good weather and if the racing is as good as last year fabulous racing with several TVR's entered.
Or you could sit in a traffic jam trying to get to the seaside.
