TV Distributors Looking for Motor Racing Content

Morning All,

As some of you may or may not know I work as an independent Tv Producer/Director.

I'm being approached reasonably frequently at the moment by distributors looking for Motor Sport related tv shows. If anyone is involved in a racing series I'd be interested in hearing from you.

They don't mind, there's just a big gap in the market and not a lot of content. I'm interested in existing series as its easier to make...!

Could be indeed, though would be a slightly more difficult sell as it would depend more on personalities rather than high octane fueled fun. Certainly a decent idea though

Just managed to catch up with this thread - for some reason only a handful of post notifications made there way to me and unfortunately I've just found a folder full of emails that I hadn't seen before! Sorry if you've emailed/replied and I've not got back to you. Certainly some excellent suggestions and points made.

Just to say thanks for the suggestions a while back. A number of you got in touch with some great ideas and I've tried to follow up with all of them. The first offering I have to show you is the teaser for a series behind BTCC team 888 Racing. Have a look at the FB page and do get involved. We have some interesting developments which I should be revealing in a week or two.

Thanks to whoever forwarded my details onto the Michelin Clio Cup, I'm off to Silverstone tomorrow to see about what we can do there.

I'm all for Women in Motorsport (And for telling Alonso that he looks a bit like a girl). I've tried to pick up on the female motorsport niche a couple of times but the people at the BWDRC never seem that bothered in talking to me unfortunately. It's a shame because it's a definite area of interest.

I'm trying to keep up with the suggestions that people are emailing to me too, sorry if I haven't responded - it's a bit manic over here as we're on the build up to MIPCom in Cannes and everything I have needs to be sales ready by then. I will eventually get back to you though.
