Following on from the thread a couple of weeks back for Snetterton:

Tordoff on Pole by a very narrow margin - repeating the achievement from earlier in the year. Plato 2nd - which should be enough to wind up all the people that don't like him hehe Cammish 3rd. Top 20 all within .7 secs of the fastest lap.

Sutton getting a bit silly now, seemed to be constantly pushing others off the track.
Quite amusing given his own protestations over Plato making contact with him at Snetterton hehe He certainly seemed to be repeatedly giving Ingram quite a few taps, runs wide, etc.

Good drive from Plato in race 3 though to finish 5th. Shame he buggered up the start (for the 2nd time this season) in the first race though.

Great for Cammish to finally get a win as well - he's had enough 2nd's up until now.

I bet most of the drivers were happy that Butcher's non start knocked 1 lap off the total distance as i don't think they'd have lasted another lap with the way the rain had set in at the end - it certainly seemed pretty heavy when they were doing the post race interviews.

...how come his team didn't let him know to reverse back a couple of inches?...
Jason mentioned in his interview with Louise that there is evidently a deliberate delay in comms between the pit wall & car during the grid formation so they wouldn't be able to advise him. Although by the sounds of what else he said, he did admit he pretty much messed up, should have known better and basically judged the position of the tape on the pit wall wrongly from when he set off for the formation lap & when he pulled up in the box.

I think it's also been mentioned either on this thread, or a previous one, that once the grid is forming / formed you can't engage reverse to reposition without a penalty anyway, so he was effectively shafted the moment he came to a halt.

There was another driver who did the same in that race, can't remember who without watching it again. JP isn't the only one who's done it (Cammish has definitely done it as well and I'm sure there are others) but he's the only one who's done it from the front row (twice) so it's far more obvious.
I think it was Jack Goff? I seem to remember something in commentary about his name being called for a drive through at the same time as Jason was.
