Last year had some very close races and the final was a dramtic way to finish the season of with the new season looking even more competitive with new teams and drivers should be another exciting year for formula e even thinking of going to the last rd in London for the final.

Just about caught the first race slow burner but picked up in the last 15/20 mins. Great result by Sam bird in the envision virgin team and both merc and Porsche on the podium in their first race very impressive.
Coverage was shocking though.

Very messy 2nd race the safety car restart while car still being recovered thought that would end in tears but thankfully put out full course yellow before anything could happen. Gutted for Sam bird though great first race climbing through the field then gets taken out. Sims was very impressive though to take his first win.
Has his team mate been penalisied for the over take.

Just checked yep 24s penalty ouch.

What a great race one of the best in the history of the season. Finally have a track without a stupid chicane which only caused red flags. Dissapointing when bird was spun he was picking off places early on. That curved section really showed of the speed before the braking zone and created some great side by side moves.
Coverage still pretty shocking and im still not convinced on quali but its certainly giving unpredictable races which is what races should be.

Watched on iPlayer and quality was ok for me. Vergne was a late entry in the bellend to your teammate awards hehe . Good race though, and whether planned or by accident, a lot of cars crossed the line on 0 or 0.1% energy.
No idea what vergne was trying to do there and when injured carry on blocking his team mate. Then carried on at full speed with a front wing dragging on the track.
Also thought he was a bit of a knob tbf very arrogant driver.

Just too add bird managed to get up to 7th after all the amendments keeps in 3rd overall. Hope he can challenge for the title this year. Nice to see the tracks are changing too less tight chicanes and more high speed section and with the car easy to follow leads too good overtakes as well.

Seen a few days ago changes to the mexico layout extended layout out after the first corner removing the tight chicane and also removing the chicane before the start straight speed should be high so battery management may well be key for good results.

Great race ruined by useless camera work seriously going for reply when there is action on track. Great win for mitch evans and jag dominate display by them. Some stupid driving by a few though and what were ds team doing with the driver swaping.

Not as good as the previous races but still loads of action and close finish for 2nd at the end. Impressive drive from jev and also mitch evans getting up to 6th. 5 different winners in 5 races there was only 5 winners in the whole of the 2019 f1 season.

And as I've just seen on DSC, FE doing FE things and clashing with WEC Spa..
Tbh it doesn't really matter wec has been dying for years and nobody will be able to go there to watch it so its a moot point.
