Intelligent Money British GT Championship
Discussion
The British GT has announced its new title sponsor from 2020:
https://www.britishgt.com/news/571/british-gt-pres...
https://www.sportbusiness.com/news/british-gt-cham...
http://enduranceandgt.co.uk/intelligent-money-beco...
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2020_British_GT_Cham...
I am very excited about this because as well as being a random PHer I also own Intelligent Money (which sponsors the Finance thread on PH too) and this gives me an opportunity to merge two passions.
There will be more announcements over the coming weeks...

As I've already said, well done, this is great news. No wonder your chuffed.
Hopefully bump into you at a race this year.

My interest in the BTCC has decreased in recent years but my interest in British GTs will always remain high.
Lamborghini and Ferrari are way better to watch than a Civic or Astra.
I'm ashamed that I didn't go to a BGT race last year.
Need to put that right in 2020.

Good news for IM,well done Julian and team,
Got to be a good advert for the company, just looked at the entrant list and noticed only 14 cars entered so far , hopefully more will join later.
Also noticed that young lad kelvin Fletcher is racing a Bentley, I met him once of all places at Silverstone on the pit wall, he comes across as a very nice down to earth chap.
My missus didn't believe I had met him and being an old fart I am not really in to the whole selfie with celebs thing

Keep an eye on their site for further announcements, it has actually be over subscribed this year so I know more are coming!
Nice story! Yes, Kelvin has just announced he is racing for JRM and Bentley again this year!

Great news, congratulations, I've been following this championship for a number of seasons now, we attended every round (including Spa) for the last 5-6 seasons, but didn't go last season as 'our' driver pulled out of the championship.
Will they still be using Avon rubber in 2020?
Cheers, we are very excited about it! That is some dedication! Will they still be using Avon rubber in 2020?
No idea regarding Avon, but their sponsorship stopped quite a while ago so I can't see our sponsorship having any impact on the choice of rubber.
Edited to add, after reading it back, that I meant that was some dedication from you to attend every single race (it could read as though I was talking about our dedication with the sponsorship, which is not what I meant at all! )

Well done for putting money into motorsport.
I have a few drivers/friends who I used to sponsor who are entering the series again this year (both GT3 and hopefully moving from GT4 to GT3).

Please send me a PM if you would like to chat (or do so here!).
I have some other announcements to make over the coming weeks (and you will know what title sponsorship costs!), but I am always open to anything.
Cheers

Cheers! Looking forward to a great season
Let me know if you are going to be at any of the races and we can share a beer!
Whilst I still have some, let me know if you would like some complimentary VIP hospitality tickets with a pit lane tour and breakfast with the drivers.
Be quick though, I am running out!!!
Cheers
Julian
Edited to add, I didn't mean share one, I meant share having one each!!!

Whilst I have been more than happy to hand out free hospitality tickets here, I am going to reign this in for a week or so whilst we hear back from PHers who are existing Private Clients at Intelligent Money, as is fair.
Whatever is then still available after their take up I will be happy to hand out again here!
Cheers
Edited to add: Everyone who got in before this post have their tickets in the bag! When our Intelligent Money PH clients have taken their tickets then I will offer the rest back here again.

Good job!
With a PHer sponsoring British GT and a PHer winning British GT, here's hoping PH take notice and provide alot more coverage this year.

That is a very good point and one I hope editorial pick up on.
With a PHer champion last year, a PHer sponsoring it this year (and the same PHer sponsoring the Finance forum on PH itself) I would hope PH would take advantage of this.
I, for example, made sure that PH was mentioned in the press release and subsequent media coverage. On the media day we will hit this home further.
It would be a missed opportunity if PH did not focus on this.

I'm only here from the swimming pool thread.
Great news for you - always enjoyed your input to the Forum. Never really been in to car racing (username gives a hint)!

That thread was great fun and I have very fond memories of it. I can't believe it was 3 years ago this year!
Cheers
