Spa Francorchamps newbie

Looks like Me and Mrs Brads will be heading out to the Spa round of the IM GT

Never having been there, has anyone any advise or just ideas about the best way to travel (both out there from Edinburgh, and around the area itself) and also about decent hotels in the area.

We are thinking about heading out a few days early just to chill for a bit.

I usually take the bike to Europe but fancy flying this time. May be tempted taking the car, but either of those options will include the tunnel as I hate ferries.

Can't help it lol. The roads round that way are ace, I can still take plenty stuff and there is a good looking biker bar in the town.

There are a couple of places that look nice and being near that biker bar is tempting.

Having the bike there means we can explore all over the area anyway.

Are there shuttle buses from Stavelot to the main entry to the circuit ? Or an quick and easy local bus ?
