NORTH WALES GRAND TOUR ROUTE

Hi Everyone.
I was having a play around with Google Maps and I ended up making up a route of North Wales. I've called it the North Wales Grand Tour. It involves great landscapes, good corners, fast straights, tunnel blasts and goes through the Horseshoe Pass and Evo Triangle. I'll write down a list of directions below. Feel free if you want to use this for a road trip or a club run etc.
START/END POINT - Holiday Inn Chester, Wrexham Road, A483
1. Exit Holiday inn and follow for Conwy, A55
2. Enter A55 and continue towards Junction 33B
3. Exit A55 at Junction 33B and follow for Mold A494.
4. Continue on A494 and follow for Ruthin and A5.
5. Turn right once you reach A5 at Corwen.
6. Continue on A5 and follow for Cerrigydrudion.
7. Turn right off A5 for Cerrigydrudion and continue on B4501/Llyn Brenig.
8. At the end of the B4501, turn right and stay on A543 for Pentrefoelas.
9. Turn right at the end of A543 on continue on A5 for Betws-Y-Coed.
10. Turn right at A470 junction and follow for Llandudno.
11. At Llanrwst, turn left for Treffiw B5109 and continue for Ty'n-y-Groes.
12. Turn right at Ty'n-y-Groes for B5279 Tal-y-Cafn.
13. At the end of B5279, turn left and continue on A470 for Llandudno.
14. At A55 Chester roundabout, exit and follow for Bangor A55.
15. Exit A55 at Junction 11 and follow for Betws-y-Coed.
16. At Capel Curig, turn right for Llanberis/Caernarfon A4086.
17. Follow A4086 for Caernarfon and turn left at Beddgelert/Pwllheli (A4085) Junction.
18. Continue on (A4085) road and at roundabout, exit for Beddgelert A4085.
19. Follow A4085 and at Beddgelert, turn off for Capel Curig A4098 (A5).
20. Continue on road until you reach A5.
21. At Capel Curig A5 junction, turn right for Betws-Y-Coed.
22. At A470 junction, turn right for Blaenau Ffestiniog.
23. Continue on A470 and at Ffestiniog, turn left for Bala B4391.
24. At end of B4391, turn left at A4212 and continue for Bala.
25. At Bala A494 junction, turn left for Llangollen.
26. Turn left at B4401 junction for Llandrillio.
27. Continue on B4401 and at the end of the road, turn right at A5 and continue for Llangollen.
28. In Llangollen, turn left for Ruthin and follow for A542/Horseshoe Pass
29. Continue on A542/Horseshoe Pass.
30. At A5104/A542 Roundabout, take the third exit and follow A5104 for Wrexham A525.
31. At traffic lights, turn right for Wrexham and continue on A525.
32. At A525/A483 junction in Wrexham, turn left for Chester and continue on A483.
33. Continue straight on at A483/A55 junction for Chester and turn right for Holiday Inn.

13. At the end of B5279, turn left and continue on A470 for Llandudno.
14. At A55 Chester roundabout, exit and follow for Bangor A55.
15. Exit A55 at Junction 11 and follow for Betws-y-Coed.
16. At Capel Curig, turn right for Llanberis/Caernarfon A4086.
17. Follow A4086 for Caernarfon and turn left at Beddgelert/Pwllheli (A4085) Junction.
18. Continue on (A4085) road and at roundabout, exit for Beddgelert A4085.
19. Follow A4085 and at Beddgelert, turn off for Capel Curig A4098 (A5).
20. Continue on road until you reach A5.
21. At Capel Curig A5 junction, turn right for Betws-Y-Coed.
22. At A470 junction, turn right for Blaenau Ffestiniog.
23. Continue on A470 and at Ffestiniog, turn left for Bala B4391.
24. At end of B4391, turn left at A4212 and continue for Bala.
25. At Bala A494 junction, turn left for Llangollen.
26. Turn left at B4401 junction for Llandrillio.
27. Continue on B4401 and at the end of the road, turn right at A5 and continue for Llangollen.
28. In Llangollen, turn left for Ruthin and follow for A542/Horseshoe Pass
29. Continue on A542/Horseshoe Pass.
30. At A5104/A542 Roundabout, take the third exit and follow A5104 for Wrexham A525.
31. At traffic lights, turn right for Wrexham and continue on A525.
32. At A525/A483 junction in Wrexham, turn left for Chester and continue on A483.
33. Continue straight on at A483/A55 junction for Chester and turn right for Holiday Inn.

Good luck around the Posthouse A55/A483 Chester roundabout. Roadworks there are now delayed until May. I go that way from Wrexham to Chester every day to work.
