Nice roads heading out of West London

I live in SW6 and am always on the lookout for nice roads out of W.London to take my car for an early-morning weekend blast, have breakfast in a village and then head back in.

I'd love to hear if anyone has any suggestions / favourite routes?

You'd have to take the A3 to Ripley then head off from there.
