I'm with you on this as I cannot understand why a car that's rated as highly as these and which, quiet frankly can be had pretty darn cheap (mine all in owes me about £16k inc car) aren't more popular. only thing I can imagine is people are afraid of the Renault badge but they are missing out!!! I was giving much more exotic cars hell at nurburgring its just perfect.

Wish they did the new Model in red. The wheels look great. I'll be after a spare set with some sticky rubber. The federal 595rsrvhave been great on my e36 m3. Dead cheap and have held up well.
I used to have 595rsr and for the money they are fantastic and last forever

Cracking car mate!

I have one in the same spec but white.

What are specs of the wheels? If you don't mind me asking, seems really hard to find after market wheels that will fit.

Pic of mine:

Hi buddy I also had a white Rs250 with forged engine and gtx2867 but sold it a few months ago.

My road wheels are only 18x7.5 et 42 but are rare as hell so will be staying put.

Track wheels are temporary atm and are 18x8 et45 but I will be running 17x9 ats gtr wheels too allow 255 tyres

A video from one of my laps at the ring in September. Only done 14-15laps so far but an 8.24 shows how capable the car is.

Engine wise mines 312bhp 353lbs torque and turbo is pretty much at its most around that. I do have 630cc and awaiting hybrid turbo so I'll be looking at 360bhp 370lbs torque on stock engine

Haha she does seem to get some love but I think it's because it's red as not many are seen in red plus the wheels

For me I wanted cup pack with the diff and red calipers, recaros are also something I wanted bit personally on track don't support you enough hence going for pole positions. Compared to the mini it's the mini with the extra space and extra grunt I always wanted. The chassis is amazing and is ridiculously good with kw clubsports. For the money these can be had for now it's crazy how their aren't more on the road

Back from the "Green hell" now and had a fantastic time but I need to take a moment to truly appreciate this car, not only does it drive me to Germany from my house using 3/4 of fuel it then absolutely makes every hair on my body stand up. how their are not more of these in the UK is beyond me but me and this car will not be separated any time soon. cheesy as it sounds but me and Meg have been through a bit of a rollercoaster ride since may with set backs and stressfully expensive moments I think its safe to say this car in only 11 months is now part of me. I ran the 17x9s with federal 595 rsr which are decent in the dry but shocking in the wet, for the price they are hard to beat but after driving with Dunlop direzza dz03g on track they feel poor in comparison but obviously these are 2 very different tyres. I went to Raeder motorsport and spoke about some suspension tweeks so who knows maybe she will spend a day there again in just over a month. As it stands she showed my pals in their stage 2 plus mk5 gti golfs with diffs and I'm sorry 1320 but even James hta28 turbo r53 had to see what a megane does when it comes to bends!!!

I met 2 German Megane owners who ive been chatting to via facebook for last couple of months and was great to eet them in person, one of which GAVE me a part I needed to allow me to fit my CAE shifter and when I offered him money he said no this is a gift from one megane friend to another!!! SAYS IT ALL.

Cars at Castle Combe action day this weekend then back to Germany for more fun in 5 weeks.
