Welcome to the club! I can only imagine 420hp with the twins, that is a huge increase over my stock one. Got any motor pics?
Thanks , yes it goes quite well.

Yep here's a photo

Looks good chap,

What boost is it running at that power level? I am running a Blitz intercooler and K&N filters with mid pipe but my sparky bits failed me on my mapping. Currently running 330bhp @ 0.6 bar until I get the Twin Power fitted and new HT leads.
Its runs 1 bar boost. J mapped it, i think it could do with another tweak as more it's done about 1k miles since then (2k on engine in total) and it seems to be getting richer. Not sure the twins will take much more mind. Been looking at upgrades for them but not cheap, and don't really want to go single.

Nice!

Are they genuine MS01's?

Are the twins still running sequentially or have they been converted to non sequential?
They are non sequential now

And no don't think they are ms01's they say feed on them..
But do look very similar.

Quick run out with a friend in his newly purchased rx7 running a single turbo.

Decided I need to upgrade my brakes after the pedal going quite quickly. Small brake over haul to come along with some new coilovers.

Few changes , swapped the wheels as didn't like the dished ones any more.

Fitted new coil overs over the bank holiday weekend too, just desperately needs alignment now!

What were the old rims? I liked them in a retro kind of way, but the new ones (CR-Kais??) look excellent, especially with the yellow paint.

What was the brake upgrade?
Old wheels were Heroes racing rims, but thanks !

Brakes were just new fluid, stop tech pads and some decent discs. Lot better now.

Lovely motor, the paint looks tidy on it too.

I would love to have a go in one of these, look a hoot to drive.
Thanks, I would hope the paint was tidy , i had the whole car resprayed earlier this year due to changing the bumper to 99 spec and a crack in the bonnet. Couldn't match the paint, so did the whole car.

Great fun to drive , I recommend trying one

That is lovely and those wheels are a huge improvement. Car looks spot on now. Is it on a private reg, or is it a 93 running a later style front bumper?

My MR2 turbo has just in excess of 300 bhp at 1.2 bar and it is ballistic. 400 bhp in a similary light car must be absolutely mental. How does it drive overall? I'll be taking mine a little higher with a programmable ECU, but 310 - 320bhp will be plenty for me.

Early next year I hope to be in the market for an FD to add to the stable and would ideally love a late plate one in yellow. One of the best looking cars ever to come out of Japan.
No it's a 93 car, only yellow ones were the first ones which they made around 300 of in a pearl yellow, then a 96 RSR model which was yellow too but a different shade. Both quite rare to find. It's very good condition though no rust anywhere and lives in a garage most of the time.

It's about right power wise, with the twins it's very easy to drive fast and very little lag. Only running 0.9 bar.
My friend has a big single turbo which is fast but not as easy to drive.

I would recommend getting one definitely , just buy the best condition one you can , they also appear to be creeping up in value for the very best ones.
