My LFA is finally ready.
Discussion
Bought a black 2012 LFA through Joe Macari (great salesman called Franco) about 4 months ago and I’ve just had word that VOSA has finally registered it. I’ll have some pictures for you guys soon but in the mean time pop down there and have a look. If there’s any owners on here that’s got an advice I’d gratefully appreciate it.

Thanks everyone, yes I’m very excited about this particular car. I hear that it’s a great car to live with, and hopefully it’ll be a great addition to my collection. I already have another great V10 Supercar so this should be perfect.
I found a picture of it on my phone, plus I’ve got a video. Totally forgot about it.

That looks like a garage screen grab from Gran Turismo!
I can assure you it’s not but funnily enough Gran Turismo are there today and they are lazering my Lamborghini tractor for their next game. It’s a hidden bonus track or something, I don’t know I don’t play computer games. Franco messaged me this morning to update me about my LFA and the tractor.

I should have added 'in a good way'! Just amazing cars; hope you really enjoy it. Try to do a 1st gear drive past in Marlow high street if you are down this way.
Unfortunately it’s being trailered ‘up north’ next week but I’m at Fiorano for a week so won’t see it now for at least 2 weeks. It’ll always stay up here I’m afraid. Skylinecrazy said:
Custard test...
So I was somewhat expecting a custard test. Which is fine, I’d ask the same. I went through this with my 250. It’s impossible to do a custard test as A) I don’t like custard therefore don’t hold any in the house and B) I’ve not got the car yet. I do however have a vast collection of other supercars that I’m more than willing to ‘custard test’ if that apeases the naysayers.
Also, I might have just found a video of me seeing it for the first time with Franco but unfortunately it’s saying the file is too big, please go back and resize it. Any ideas?

Are you the same chap that bought the 250 to restore?
I am indeed, I was restoring it to raffle away to help kids with cancer but unfortunately I developed a brain tumour that halted me in my tracks. I stored it away and due to my memory I can’t actually remember where it is. I’m sure I’ll remember one day but for now it’s all a blur. I’ve still kept up my commitment with helping children with cancer and thanks to one of the Neville brothers (can’t remember which one as I’m not big into football) I get to use Hotel Football for all the charity events. I've seen an LFA on track and another on the road (I think the numberplate was LFA 1, the car was bright yellow), as others have said, they make an absolutely incredible noise. Should I somehow come into Euromillions type money, I'd go out and buy an AMG GT and a fast estate on day one (E63 or C7 RS6) and the next purchase would be an LFA. One can always dream....
I’ve just recently sold my AMG GTS Edition 1, good car but not great. I’d take the RS6 any day though, great choice SuperVM said:
Which one is your favourite?
A favourite? Hmm hard to answer as they all do something different. But if I was told I could only keep one car then it would have to be my Fiat 695 biposto tributo. I know I know...but it really is a fantastic little car, quick, nibble, manual, turbo’d and very light. Oh and carbon, lots and lots of carbon. I don’t think it’s about how much the car costs or how fast it is, I always go with how it makes you feel connected to the road.

Part of me is sat here thinking this is the perfect time for a "Not sure if serious..." moment...
If serious then first, fair play sir... second, brilliant... and third, what a great attitude!
Well done sir, well done!
Haha I can assure you I’m serious, I’d rather not be but unfortunately I am. I had a brain tumour as I was just starting my 250 restoration, I’ve only just returned to pistonheads after about 2 or so years hiatus. Anyway!!! Yeah I can’t remember where I put my car as that part of my brain was scrambled, but if I’m honest I rarely think about the car so I can’t be that bothered about it in the grand scheme of things. I’ve got plenty of others to play with but more importantly I’ve got a 2 year old (had her whilst I was recovering) that’s more precious to me than any car. It probably does sound like a fib but I’ve honestly got a 250 that I can’t remember where I put it. If serious then first, fair play sir... second, brilliant... and third, what a great attitude!
Well done sir, well done!

Yeah to say he’s a fanboi could be an understatement! That underground car park must be full now!!!
Glad to see the recovery from the brain job is done!!! Good luck for the future and will look forward to spotting the LFA around AE or or Stockton Heath!!
Thank you for your concern, very nice of you to remember me. I’ll make sure to give you a ride in the LFA when it gets delivered. Look out for it on instagram (no doubt it’ll be on there somehow) and message me, then I’ll sort out a meet up in Alderley. Glad to see the recovery from the brain job is done!!! Good luck for the future and will look forward to spotting the LFA around AE or or Stockton Heath!!

Perhaps it’s time to launch the PistonHeads 250 hunt? It’s like an Easter egg hunt but the winner gets to help restore the 250!
Haha great idea. I’m just focusing on my current cars at the moment. Bought a Porsche CGT a few months ago and it’s still been at Porsche Reading having its clutch replaced and getting serviced, it’s these little things that are taking up most of my time. So yeah, I’ll just leave the 250 hunt to you guys. JPJPJP said:
There are several important life lessons in this thread
Not least that whenever you leave a 250 somewhere for some time, at least email yourself where it is. Or tell someone
I reckon ph will find it
Kind of didn’t have enough time to do that. Not when you’re being rushed down to theatre. Like I said, it’s not the most important thing to focus on in life, it’s just a car at the end of the day. Hi guys
Thanks for all the replies, really appreciate it. Sorry if I’ve not got around to replying to them all. I’m just at Modena at the Ferrari racetrack doing some testing in the 812superfast at the moment. When I’m back in Blighty I’ll reply. Oh and just to clarify, that’s not my Lamborghini tractor he’s advertising as mine is blue & orange. The new one is blue & red.
Cheers

Hi everyone.
I’ve just got back from Fiorano and I’m happy to do an AMA with you lot. I spent 5 days with a fair few different Ferrari’s. Got confirmation that I’ll be getting the new 488 speciale (or GTO, Evo, R.....whatever they are calling it). Also ‘treated’ myself to a tdf 355 from jct600, getting a 430 Scuderia & 16M coming from Dick Lovett (dealt with David McGrory, great guy).
Just had word on my 991 GT2RS too, coming next year. Plus I’ve just managed to bag the very last Aston Martin AMV12S off the production line. (7 speed dog leg) in Flugplatz blue just before they start making the new shape. Please see pictures below. It really looks like my collection is coming on now. I’m not just a hoarder, I drive them too. So when my LFA comes back from Topaz Car Detailing in London, anyone that lives up north and would like a passenger ride, just message me on here and we’ll share the wealth. Or if you see me in any others, just wave me down and I’ll take you for a spin.
Before then though, and before the bad weather hits please feel free to Ask Me Anything (AMA) about my cars.
I’ll be replying to everyone’s comments throughout this weekend.
Cheers
