Back with an ex - leggy DC2 Integra, again

This morning I am doing what I was told never to do and buying my old car back. Mixed emotions to say the least, am I looking at it through rose tinted specs? Will it be as good as I remember? I owned the car for 3.5 years and have so many fantastic memories, it’s been the best car I’ve ever owned and I regretted selling it the moment it left. For some reason I haven’t l gelled with the cars I’ve owned in between (E30 track car and E46 M3) even though the 46 is clearly a superior car.

I found myself looking at eBay to see what was around, and there it was with just a day left on the listing. I’m not a believer in fate, but with the prices really starting to climb I went for it.

Engine/gearbox/clutch etc are amazing
I know the previous owners
Best colour (imo)
It’s my old car

Bad
Rust appearing on the rear arches (again)
197,000 miles (most at 9k rpm probably!)
Paint showing it’s age
Suspension needs a refresh
It’s my old car
Exhaust is knackered

Plan is to get it back up to scratch and enjoy!
