Hi there though I would start a project thread had my golf about 4 months brought of my dad it's mint body work is mint full service history 98k runs amazing not the quickest thing needs a remap so far I have fitted coilovers full stainless steel exhaust leather interior need to sort the alloys out have Porsche turbo twist just need some adapters so today I fitted some R8 coilpacks and it runs nice also fitted a ecs n75 race valve which everyone says are rubbish but I think it makes it run smooth also fitted some black coolant cap and washer bottle here are some pics cheers

Want to start sorting out the audio side of things just fitted a double din pioneer need to install a amp some front components and a 12 inch sub

Lol sorry bud . Yes the estate went sold it didn't really need a car that big. But stayed with the 1.8t engine but better being the aum ko3s 😁

Lol where do I start , have just purchased some powerflex top mounts and bushes because mine have had it,going to try a fit these this weekend but weathers not great .need to sort my alloys out got the Porsche twist I took off the Audi but need adapters.also want to do some engine work front mount ,bigger intake remap, injectors hoping for around 240 but need to change the clutch to a solid one

I was kind of thinking the same bud.problem with the MK4s are if you modify them properly they can look good but there are some horrible. Examples out there being 37 don't want to chav it up want to keep it almost standard on the outside want the anniversary splitter front and rear but that's about it.am currently looking at some Porsche front brakes

Cheers for the input mate.just brought some powerflex top mounts and bushes most of the car is poly so drives nice a tight

So true.
If we could only see the future then there are many that would not have slipped through our fingers.
My dad in the 80s had a MK2 fiesta xr2i which he sold in 95 for a grand total of 150 pounds gutted

The mk5 gti I had felt really cheap inside compared to the mk4

People used to slate the these handeling wise however I fitted some coilovers and it wasn’t to bad at all
Very true mate the problem with the Mk5 was the crap metal they used the rust was bad

I had a Leon cupra also.hehe hated it leaked terribly.also other things I hated was the dash single din stereo I think golf is better inside but maybe I just got and good golf or I had a bad Leon

Your right there I am going for some Porsche twist bit of a marmite wheel but I think they work on a MK4 not sure what colour

Yesterday fitted a ecs n75 race valve what a waste of 50 pounds put the car into limp mode so that will be going on the e to the bay

Another addition to the engine bay
