Engine and gear in the back and in the front. Linked with clutch pedal and throttle and gear linkage. Also an electronic box linking motors together with a bias of upto 500rpm difference either way.
My previous c2v6 got destroyed in a garage fire which was completely lost.
When complete should be combined power of around 460-470bhp so should be nippy!!!

Wow thanks for the great feedback guys.
I had a c2 vtr and loved it but the 110bhp wasvery poor. So decided to build something different with decent power but without overkill!!! C2v6 was born. Awesome car but I got greedy lol and wanted more power so decided twin motor as this is just different to bolting a turbo onto a front wheel drive car. I needed grip. This cars built on a very very tight budget. But trying my best to built it right.

Am I been thick asking what an ss is??

Iv changed my plans slightly now.
The engines are going to be turbo charged. Iv got a pair of garret T35 turbos now which will run 8 psi each motor.
Should manage 275-300bhp each motor with this setup. It should be pretty quick once complete.
Completion date is French car show at rockingham raceway June 5th.

The rear diff is now welded up (cheap and very effective way of locking the diff)

I can handle the criticism lol.
Every single thing on this built is and has been done by me.
Certain things will be addressed at a later date. Bear in mind this build is on a very tight budget.

Hi Gary,

Sorry to of taken so long to reply to your messages...I've been busy playing with the parked cars etc.

I had noticed your project last year, when you had a unlucky accident with your first twin v6, a lot more worry on my shoulders when I thought how easily it could happen to me while I was working in cramped condition in my home garage, but as well as an eye opener as I wouldn’t spend another 5 years building another, which I must congratulate you on doing, well done!
I took some picking myself up after tbf but so glad I did.

Be very interesting to see how a locked diff works on the back, have no experience with this other than locking centre diffs, Quaife do a LSD for the ml5 but its listed as for a van I believe.
Mm be nice at a later date.

I'm amazed at your project release date! I so wish I could dedicate that much time on mine in so little time!

Are you connecting the shifts cables from the front off the rear gearbox to the rear of the front gearbox and then using the 406 box to active the links on the front gearbox?
Basically I used the 406 stick/selector box and doubled up the cables. 2x 3 metre long cables and they go to the original gearbox selectors and retainers. Very light and easy gearchange this time. Last time was really heavy and hard to change.

Could I ask what are you planning for the clutch mechanize such which master and slave sixes etc? Mine is VERY heavy but disengages the clutch within 2 inch of the pedal being depressed which just what I wanted, thank god its not a road car lol
iv used both standard v6 master and slave cylinders but notpiped the rear up yet so not sire how it's gonna feel yet :&

I would recommend putting both your throttle bodies in a lathe and boring out that ramp in the back and porting the manifolds to suit, makes a nice difference to wot. And I’m sure you thinking of removing that restrictive front downpipe? Do it.
Mm sounds like a good idea to me.

Looking forward to some more photos!
Can't beat them can ya lol
Oh.. Please I hope we never meet on the track, for safety reasons lol not thatwould be a lot of fun lol.
2 very similar but very different builds.
