911 weird wire erosion - any idea ?
Discussion
Hi there , 911 (991) C2S , sitting up in my garage for the winter - thought it a good idea to charge the battery and when doing so I noticed this - looks like strange wire erosion (chewing?) Does anyone know what this part does , looks like maybe it's part of the alarm system ? Am I allowed to deny all knowledge of said fault and pretend I never saw it or does it need sorting - Cheers

Could be you've got a resident rodent as they love to nibble at electrical cables.
If it is related to the alarm and you've declared an alarm system to your insurers, then you need to get it fixed as it could invalidate your policy in the event of a claim.
Thought it may be a fluffy thing but no sign of rodent st in the garage , so unlikely If it is related to the alarm and you've declared an alarm system to your insurers, then you need to get it fixed as it could invalidate your policy in the event of a claim.
