My Rear Wiper motors packed up.....
I got a replacement but the shaft (the bit that goes through the screen) is thicker than the existing one, although apart from that it works a treat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Any idea if I could get the old one refurbed some place? The motors OK it’s just the gear mechanism. :-(

And anybody need one with the larger shaft, apparently it was refurbed B4 I bought it??? It sounded very quiet when plugged in.

I now have 3 (or will have shortly) one that works but does not fit, one that fits but does not work & hopefull soon one that works & fits...

Hi Andy, You purchased the wiper motor from me! The S2 is supposed to have the larger spindle wiper motor, so yours must have been replaced at some time with the earlier type. The one I supplied you was a refurbed one which was originally on my car, but was surplus to requirements after I got another from ebay (friend refurbed mine after I purchased one off ebay). The one I purchased from ebay (unknown to me) was an earlier one so I had to modify my wiper arm to get it to fit. If you want we can swap them over and I can open out the wiper arm to fit the original. Contact me through my profile if you want to go ahead with a swap. Regards Simon
