I need to replace my trusty and well beaten Cayenne S, which I have 200,000Km on and which has endured Canadian winters, offroading in deserts, towing heavy loads for enormous distances and three Great Danes as frequent passengers. It has a lot of road rash these days.

It is hard to judge the next gen car,but the little I do know suggests that the Turbo will have the twin-turbo V8 from the new Panamera.
Still curious about the size. The recently announced VW Atlas and the Bentayga are to my knowledge on a common platform, so I would think the new Cayenne would also be there..i.e. bigger than the current model. This would also differentiate it more from the Macan.

Does anyone have any info on the next gen vehicle??

I think it has to be bigger to distinguish itself from the Macan.

It also has to slot handily with with Panamera Sport Turismo and it will be interesting how they price.

I looked at current between then present Cayenne Turbo S and the Panamera Turbo Gran Turismo and the base price of the Pana was about 25% higher than the current Cayenne. (Canadian prices)..

Looks like a modest evolution to me though interior will be much nicer. I thought it would be longer to dintinguish it from Macan. I fancy the V8 though. Have one on order.

I think the styling is blah and cancelled my order. Sloping rood at the rear makes it less functional for my Great Dane than my old boxy 2008 Cayenne S.
I decided to keep the old Cayenne S and ordered a Panamera Sport Turismo Turbo (the station wagon) as a DD
