Looking to purchase a new car, I think its going to be the Panamera Turbo.
Anything I should consider when ordering? This will be my first ever porsche, so looking forward to the experience

I took the 4S out for a test drive, and whilst the car is plenty quick enough, I felt you really had to rev it hard to get the performance out of it. This then made it feel unrefined, there didnt seem to be much low down grunt.
Still loved the car however, so order is now placed, and its the full fat turbo :-)

I have ticked the four wheel steer option, but am going with standard exhaust. I have been given strict instructions NOT to get a load car as it wakes the other half up in the morning :-)
Have gone for black leather as well, together with a few other options that add £17k to the car !!!
Cant wait to get it

Lucky Ive gone for full surround view then, I will be able to see the fence, hedges and lamp posts all at once smile
Its arriving end of April, early May, just in time for the good weather.

Heated, Ventilated and MASSAGE seats :-)
As for the kiddy seats, they are all past that stage, however, as I have 3 kids and two dogs, I feel it isnt going to be as practical as my Audi Estate I am selling.
Still, it will just mean we have to use the "bosses" car for family trips, keeping the miles off mine, or an even better idea, I follow on my own in the Porsche

A few "free bits and bobs"
How did you get that?
This is the first time I have bought a porsche, and the first time I have not got a discount of any sort, not even an incy wincy one, so a few "free bits and bobs" would have certainly taken a little bit off the shock of not getting anything off the price list.
i hope its going to be worth it..

I couldnt even get those !!!!
And to rub salt into the wounds, they offered me £7k LESS than "we buy any car" offered me on my car.
I suppose if your in a position when you have a product that you dont need to sell, you can get away with giving nuffink.
Took a little joy out of the purchase, I just hope its worth it.

Its arrived !!!!!
Collected it yesterday, I love it. I just now need to spend the next few weeks trying to understand all the technology.
I was a little worried that I hadnt driven a Turbo before I ordered, but I need not have. The only slight doubt I have is the colour I chose, maybe I should have gone for Grey..

It is pretty big, and it is larger than the RRS we have. However, it doesnt feel its size, and I went for surround view which is really good for parking and protecting those wheels !! I think without that it might get a few scratches.
I also went for the aluminium finish inside which I am really glad I did. I think the piano black finish looks supurb but makes the whole interior dull, so as I went for black leather (very practical) the aluminuim finish just breaks things up a bit, and it doesnt look "tacky" which I feared it might do.
The other good thing is google earth mapping, its brilliant, however, if you read the small print on the internet, it says this service will be finishing in December 2017. Apparantly something to do with licencing.
Here is a picture, but it doesnt do it justice. It is such a nice enviroment.

Car didnt come with SIM, but after I asked to see how it all works, they gave me a FOC SIM that lasts for a couple of months. Its all pretty complicated, you definately need to spend a few hrs reading and learning. I still havent fathomed out everything yet.
Everyone seems to think its a good thing to have done, the GTecniq coating. so mine is now booked in to have coating done next week,
The other option I chose that I absolutely love is the Auxilary Heater. Getting into the car on a frosty morning is lovely. Its all nice and warm, plus you dont have to scrape the windscreen :-) :-), I think you can use it to cool the car down on hot days as well.
