If any one knows the owner / driver of this 911 TT Cab , then tell him I have approx 15 miles of in car video footage of his appalling driving along the westbound M4 this afternoon at approx 1:30 pm (including a face shot in a 50 mph section) .

He was driving like a utter moron, undertaking 8 vehicles at excessive speed (on video) and nearly forcing 3 of them into the central reservation including me.

I've submitted my in car footage of his appalling driving to Thames Valley Police with a view to hopefully getting this moron prosecuted for dangerous driving and a lengthy ban ...he can expect to get a knock on his door in the next few days.

He is an embarrassment to all Porsche drivers and he needs to be put off the road for other roads user safety.

BiB took my witness statement this afternoon and will also contact a couple of drivers whose reg details are also visble on video to corroborate.

There was no space to pull to the inside w/o cutting up those driving in the mid lane - and the the dork driving in W4YKS can clearly be seen seen jinking in and out of every availabe space from the inside to the outside lane throughout the entire video w/o making hardly any progress.

I'll post the video on You tube after the guy gets nailed and he gets a ban - I'd hate to think that the moron gets off on a 'technicality ' wink

None of you witnessed it.
We can all drive fast, but it takes a special kind of moron driver who deliberately shows off and endangers the lives of other road users - not just once but multiple times as can clearly be seen in the video, Especially appalling is footage of him nearly forcing a Merc into the central res by accelerating hard and undertaking at speed from the mid lane and almost hitting the Merc's nearside front .That Merc driver was forced to brake heavily and swerve towards the central res and only missed hitting it by a hairs width - and who know what the consequences would have been for that driver and others drivers in the vicinity had that happened - possibly carnage . .

Oh and for the poster who asked how I got his face shot that was easy - W4YKS slowed up in a 50mph camera zone due to road works thinking that he would make faster progress in one of the inside lanes but he got boxed in wink

Anyway BiB believe they have a enough evidence to pursure a DD charge - if successful , then W4YKS is looking at least a 1 year ban , having to resit / pass his driving test before he is allowed back on the road - result !!! oh and sky high insurance premiums - double result wink .

mmmm...It didn't look like his house was on fire when he was abiding by the 50mph speed limit in a camera zone - but i kinda liked the one from another poster that maybe he was rushing to renew his expired MOT wink

Whatever - he's getting nailed wink

I'd still like to know how the OP kept up for 15 miles if the driver was driving so fast, undertaking on the hard shoulder, etc.

I'd laugh if they both end up with a DD charge.

What I actually suspect happened is the OP would move out the 'fast lane' because he was doing 70 and when the 911 got bored and went past on the inside he decide to get 'revenge'.
sorry sherlock not a chance and you're wrong. I'll post the video here after the guy gets nailed .

It's kinda ironic that most on here have responded with negative opinions wrt to me reporting this guy - why do you think that is ?

As a Porsche owner since the late 80's - a '88 3.2 Carrera , '51 996TT and currently 997TT , I was really embarrassed to witness another Porsche owner's appalling driving. W4YKS is in a small minority but he is a major reason why other sensible Porsche owners/ drivers get a bad image.

Every single Porsche driver has probably experienced not been let out at a junction but yet it's never a problem when you are driviing something else....or the yob in a Corsa who sits inches off your tail pipe - familiar to any of you ?

Regardless of the fact that W4YKS was driving a Porsche , I wonder what the opinions of some on here might have been if the guy had caused a serious accident and there had been people killed ? For those of you on here long enough , then go search what happened to the owner/driver of a 928 a few years ago.

IMO he deserves to be put off the road - we are all entitlled to our opinions , but what anyone else thinks of why I reported the guy is really none of my business. - that my last word , honest wink

Maybe the better question is why do YOU think that is?

Why did you originally post this? Not content with reporting the guy to the police, you post on here. Why? You want to publicly shame him as well? You want a medal from the forum? Maybe you should go and have a cold bath and reflect on what folks have replied, instead of continuing to project this self-righteous smugness.
well i guess if someone is deliberately endangering the life of me and my family and other road users then yes i want him nailed.

So you "want him nailed" but you don't want to reflect on how this incident has impacted your behaviour or on what your peers on this forum think of it?

Not cool man frown
LOL , not in the least - I havent posted here in a long time , and to be honest some of the comments just reminded me of why i stopped posting on here a long time ago - cynical , sarcastic is how i remember alot of it ..things havent changed much wink

and yes I came on here in the hope that someone knows this guy and even better if he gets outed and shamed - and as I mentioned, what anybody thinks of me is none of my business.

I think you posted on here in hope that the driver was a forum member. You would have then had the joy of informing him of your actions, and the impending knock on the door from the bib.
One other thought. It has been alluded to that the driver in question had no mot or insurance. Hope he's not a real criminal who holds a grudge.
Absolutely spot on

By the way i never claimed that his vehicle was uninsured , it was some other poster who noticed that the vehicle's MOT had lapsed, which is really not a big deal.

And a real criminal driving a Porsche ? ....naa, real criminals drive BMW's wink

Hopefully ....and whoever he is loses sleep as he reflects on his actions as his court case approaches.

I'm refusing to pass judgement until I see the video however...

It's either going to be a slightly impatient driver undertaking a bunch of lane hogging, self-righteous buggers or the Porsche driver was being very naughty or it's a combination of the two.

I would guess though that we'll never see the video footage as it'll show the OP being a little silly himself.
nope the only vehicle in the video footage who can be seen driving dangerrousy , erratically and showing off was W4YKS. I have no problem posting the video AFTER the guy gets whatever is coming to him and I suggest you reserve judgement on his driving until then.

If he pleads guilty to DD then the case will come up quickly - probably Reading CC - if he doesn't then it will take a bit longer.

I wouldn't be too confident in the police leaping into action over this. Even if they do bother and it somehow gets to court a descent lawyer will tear apart a piece of amateur non calibrated video footage.
maybe - but clear video footage of him cutting up multiple vehicles , multiple times over a (busy) 15 mile M4 stretch and nearly forcing some of them into the central res will be difficult to defend. Bib are corroborating with 2 other drivers of vehicles seen in the video footage.

If someone's driving is threatening your life - call the police and ask if they have any patrols that could come. Use 999 if necessary or 101 if it's not an immediate threat. Dash cam evidence won't be much use to you when you're dead.

I don't agree with the closing of ranks/omerta proposed by some other posters - just because we all drive Porsches does not make us a brotherhood..
Good advice - next time it happens I will call the Police on 999 on my mobile from the outsifde lane of the M4 ....and I'll have possbly driven to S Wales if /when they decide to send someone out wink

But dont fret over those closing ranks on me. As a long time Porsche owner , it seems I no longer deserve any ' Love, Brotherhhood or Camraderie for snitching on an other Porsche owner's appalling driving behaviour . I would have done the same on any other driver who acted in the same way. I dont care what others' opinions are- I just wanted the guy if he's is on here to be embarrassed and outed for his disgraceful dangerous driving. Hopefully he's lurking on here or if not his mates will bring it to his attention.

I'm clearly a lost cause to the Porsche marque and there no hope for redemption if / when Mr Karma ever pays me a visit....but c'est la vie life goes on and the guy is still going to get nailed - adios amigos wink
