There have been numerous thefts of aircooled 911s recently from central London carparks and residential streets.

It seems that the metropolitan police don't bother to investigate car thefts anymore. This is a potential 'green light' to car thieves, who are able to steal classic Porsches without fear of investigation.

When my 1977 911 was stolen last month the police told me that they wouldn't be investigating the crime due to lack of resources, in fact they didn't even come and take a look at scene of the crime. I was left to ask local businesses to look at their cctv.

Surely something more can be done to catch the criminals?

For 25 years I have parked my RS/GT3 on street and now park my Ferrari on street for the lat 4 years and willl park my new GT3 RS on street as well in London ..... they are my daily drivers .... only once the old GT3 was vandalised but foolishly I parked outside a pub ... so my fault really
I have also parked a ferrari and a maserati on the same street without issue for years. I wonder if classic 911s are stolen more regularly since the rise in values (and parts)?

Oh no! That's such a shame. Where was it stolen from?

I do hope that you get it back, it is quite distinctive.
