Cayenne 958 leather types? Gliptone salesperson asks...
Discussion
Hey guys
While trying to purchase all sorts of cleaning products from Gliptone (LiquidLeather) I got stuck at "which product is appropriate and which one isn't". So I emailed them, asking which products they reccomend for my Cayenne. Original email follows:
"PORSCHE CAYENNE 2012, full leather seats (perforated) - black, with leatherette on the back of the seats, recently cleaned by the car-park which sold it to me...I doubt they used real leather-cleaning products.
Please advise which products I need from your store (I do not want to dye anything afterwards, I just want to get them cleaned)
- Should I use GT12 or GT15 for cleaning?
- Should I use GT11 or GT13.5 for conditioning?
- Should I use GT10 for the dashboard and other vinyl items inside the car? Or should I look at the AUTOMATE range of products for cloth and vinyl cleaners?"
To this...they replied that I have to tell them the exact type of leather in my Cayenne...and that if I don't know, I should ask the manufacturer. Like that's doable.
So...I am asking you guys for some help...maybe someone at some point figured this one out.
Below I have a few pictures of my interior...it's the standard black perforated leather, nothing fancy. Also, regular dashboard (not leather-wrapped).
