...so POA can be to hide the deal from the owner of the car.

(of course, there are other reasons too...like say a 991.2GT3RS which the dealer does not actually have at all but is putting out a fake advert to ascertain where the market is or secure strong interest to then take to a potential owner, etc)

I suppose as the seller providing you get the net price you were after then al is good .

From a buyers perspective I find it off putting and then tend to move on .

Afaik JZM always advertise the price of their cars

I usually take the view POA means if you have to ask you can't afford it and it's usually saved for 'very special cars'.

Better to set a fair price. This can always be moved up or down if the market shifts.

Yes my sentiments entirely.

If its out of my price range i want to know without wasting the traders time or that of my own.

I'd rather know i cant afford it from the outset!

I think that's right it should be on an agreed percentage and i know that's what JZM do and in my experience they very much play by the rules. Cant vouch for others though.

The excuse of Data Protection would prevent some from handing over the buyers details i'd imagine
