Porsche Boxster 981 GTS

I'm looking to buy a 981 Boxster GTS in PDK or Manual & wondered if anyone had any tips to look for when purchasing

Does anyone know how many were made - not a lot about

Thanks - I’m not going to comment on the 718 as I’d get myself into all sorts of trouble with 718 owners.

I do wonder if the rumoured NA 718 will happen (not talking Spyder / GT4) ???

There are a couple of nice 981 Boxster GTS's for sale at Redline..I'm currently debating buying a Manual used Porsche like a 996GT3 or alternatively an old air cooled 911.
However on reflection i've now decided to wait and see the specs and prices of the new 718GT4 and Spyder..If you have a good shout on getting one of these i'd put off buying a GTS...at least for a while.

Thanks , the GTS is for my wife - I had and used a 981 Spyder as a dd; absolutely loved it - best “smiles per miles” modern road going Porsche IMHO ; she hated it and thought it was a “silly car” that only a stupid man would design - “who wants that silly manual roof and heavy clutch - men are such idiots !”

There will be a 6 cylinder regular series/cooking 718, this has been all but confirmed but not, yet announced. You might want to keep your powder dry, unless you want something right now and or have other reasons for specifically wanting a 981.

Thanks for this - it looks like the Spyder is about to be announced and it will be interesting to see if these follow ??
