Contemplating ordering a facelift GTS Macan and wondered if anyone else was in the same boat?
Any ideas when the new model is going to arrive and the configurator will change?
Price increase with new model?
Likely delivery times?

The Macan 3 will be on configurator some time July. The Turbo name is being dropped meantime (I suspect it will reappear when the electric car appears in 2023). Instead the Macan 3 GTS is getting the Turbo power plant/output. No idea in pricing yet, although I suspect the GTS will jump a fair bit given the power hike.
My local OPC has a full order book for Macan 3 till year end.

I was in my local dealer on Friday, tried out a current base 2 litre ahead of going back with family to try an S when they could get one (not buying a car without making sure it doesn't make my son puke or wife generally unhappy).

Only info offered was a facelift is coming, power is up on all engines, they want £1k now to get me in the queue for a car, they said not to bother trying out the current S and wait for facelift to be there for me to try.

On the test drive bit, is this normal level of helpfulness for Porsche or best to try another dealer? The attitude seems a bit 'take it or leave it' overally.

Interestingly my local BMW dealer were bending over backwards to help. I was actually ready to order an X3 M40i but supply issues meant we had another look around (deal on table strong enough to not bother waiting for facelift but some key options like comfort entry and audio upgrade can't be met and no indication when the supply issues might be resolved).

Sorry cannot comment to much on the take it or leave it attitude, although I felt this with one Porsche dealership but not the one I will probably purchase from.
I am just more aware of a BMW dealership bending over backwards to help. Found this when I purchased my M4. Excellent service, great price , great discount, but then when we you come to sell the depreciation is on another level. I would persevere and give them another opportunity. Far better car, cost more but you wont feel the pain BMW drivers have when it comes to trade one in.
Interesting, I find my OPC a great place to visit. Friendly knowledgeable service, no pressure to buy or load the car with expensive crap you won’t use, can’t be more helpful in many ways, test drives not a problem etc. Whereas in the main BMW dealers are frankly awful. Phone calls very seldom returned, pressure on to buy whenever you walk in and generally just very little interest in providing a half decent buying experience.

Placed my deposit a few weeks ago for a facelift GTS, was told it is getting turbo power, possibly 21s as standard, new colours, haptic dash and new bumpers as seen in spy shots.

20th of July for the configurator he thought.

There is 4 ahead of me in the queue at Preston OPC for them so I should hopefully get one this year.
Chester had 9 in the queue, Wilmslow said spring next year.

Sold my S via wizzle, which is now in Bournemouth OPC for more than I paid for it new.

Wonder where they will pitch the GTS price wise with the bigger power etc?

Great result with your S

Sorry, not very clear I lost 4k over 21 months on the S from new. OPC bournemouth that bought it are now advertising over list.

OPC think £1500-2k rise
As I said, cracking result.

If the new GTS has Turbo power and a small rise of say £2K I will be very pleasantly surprised. Will potentially sell like hot cakes!

So, the GTS is going to a 10% price hike, that’s disappointing to be honest.
I wonder where they will pitch the S price wise, as if you look at the torque figures for it (only 22lb ft less than GTS) I do suspect that’s maybe going to be the sweet spot on the Macan 3?

Interesting to read also that it will be sold along side the ev version until the restrictive euro 7 emmissions come into force around 25/26.
It will cease production get it while you can springs to mind?
I wonder if they will do a special final ice edition?
Sounds like the GTS has a touch of that about it, although I suspect they will likely release a GTS performance pack (with more power) or similar towards end of production

Do you guys expect strong residuals of the facelift given the electric Macan looming?
Booked in with my local OPC to discuss the facelift and potential order.
I'd be stunned if it isn't equally as strong as the outgoing model.
Having read the initial reviews and bearing in mind the Mark 3 GTS will have Turbo BHP then I’d expect it to become pretty sought out and highly desirable in years to come.

Reading have orders into double figures already, good news is there will be a few more gen2 models up for sale.
A well specced gts will be touching £90k by the sound of it?
To blow £90K I think you’d have to go pretty mad and tick every box. For me, I’m hoping to keep mine at £70K. Some cheap essentials like heated steering wheel, quick clear screen, privacy, reverse camera, plus chrono and a pan roof. It’s got air suspension and sport exhaust/seats as standard anyway I understand. So, that gives me Turbo power, better handling and a liveable spec all for the price of a basic Macan 2 Turbo…..

For me the darker colours work better on the car and also help not to highlight the contrast with the big black front “mouth”. Re pricing, I actually think a relatively lightly optioned GTS is not a bad deal V the outgoing Turbo. Similar price with some creature comforts plus I suspect it will dynamically be better
