Has anyone had this fitted or fitted one themselves?
I was interested in the quality and ease of use with the wi-fi connection etc.

Have been considering buying one of these as I have just swapped my 2017 Cayenne GTS for a 22 version.

It's expensive compared to the Dashcams available off the shelf (web) and looks a tad bulky to me. I have seen the unit advertised for around £300-350 and fitting appears to be very straight forward having looked at the instructions I managed to find on the web. Connects using spare fuses and the instructions advise which row and slot to use. Wiring is ran across the screen under the headlining and down the pillar which I have done before for aftermarket cams. Porsche centres are asking another £4-500 for this when it's actually 30 mins work if you can handle the work.

I never had any queries when extending the warranty on the last Cayenne, but there is always the risk I guess.
Why do they not have a power source fitted for these on new cars in the roof console area, when insurance companies will look favourably on them, is beyond me! Profit I guess!

Grateful of any experience with this

We have one fitted to our cayenne. Fitted by the dealer. It’s paid for itself already as it simplified an insurance claim where a guy drove into the front wing and we could prove we were in our lane and the other car swerved into ours.
Thanks sound like it was very worthwhile!
Do you happen to have any pictures showing the install from inside the car. I can see they are a fair size and wondered what they looked like fitted and where the wire goes etc.
Many thanks
