I heard that the 997 is out towards the end of this year followed by a 997s

I saw a 996 aniversary model with 355bhp I think and understand that the 997 will be 330bhp with the 997s 355 bhp

anyone heard the same?

I wish I took notes as it was nice chat with a head guy from Porsche GB (deveolpment director I think)at an offical opening of the Burgess Hill dealership last week. - very smart do. anyone else here go?

I also asked about a tv in the sat nav system (as a BMW I had had one and was the best part of the car) but he had been trying to get Porsche (Germany) to put it in as there is a demand for uk customers but Germany refuse to do so.

100% the rears are not going to be removed.

Thats the only reason it made the car viable for me - either for our little dog, more luggage space for a 3rd person on short trips.

no rear seats = no more superlightr in a porsche - just not practical enough.

The Mr Porsche guy I spoke to said that the rear seats was not on the cards to be removed in the immediate/near future if at all.
