Anyone read this months GT purley Pap? There is a feature on a supercharged 996 from the US they clame +120BHP and lots of low end gain.As the late 996 market has gone soft and I dont realy need to sell mine what are your thoughts on such a project for a fast road car?? Should I do this to a car with 2 years factory warranty? what other componants need an upgrade if any (as it is a C4S it has Turbo brakes and suspension but I think a normal clutch?)
any thoughts or views appreciated??

Thanks Colin The article in GT magazine talked of a bolt on conversion with no perminant mods is this the case with your conversion? will the normal clutch on a C4S be able to cope?
I assume the PCGB engine warranty will be void what about the rest of the car??
I like the Idea of 420 bhp for that cost how do you think the delivery will compare to a turbo or x50
Has anyone on hear got a supercharged car ??

Paul is right the C4s does not have the split GT1 block as a base but does that ad to the weight? part of the extra may be from the uprated cluch & electric rear spoiler? any more thoughts?
Also will my swichable (loud)sports exhaust rob me of BHP?
Im getting into this idea!and yes it is pure testostarone
