new owner of an older porsche
Discussion
the other one can really eat/munch/consume/gobble the pennies, particularly fuel....hence a 924.
no offence taken from the PH "porsche club". the 924 is a "humble" (restricted budget type) porsche and seems much better put together than the lotus excel i had many years ago....so far....bites lip, crossed fingers, grasps cheque book, nervously..
as an observation over the last few days of ownership, not wanting to upset the apples out of the cart as a newbie, but in the RR & B world when you meet a family member on the road (i'm starting to sound like DeR, i've been looking at PH too long!) a cheery wave is exchanged..doesn't seem to happen in this family?
maybe just my location?

yep, plan is to make its 4 th consecutive appearance at le Mans this year and do the PH meet on friday morning. i got a PH sticker for the back bumper yesterday and a little window sticky for the 924. le Mans is a long way at 18mpg and 65 mph but worth the effort every time. expect to be in houx annex again, see you there. a racing number on the bentley, hmmm, thats an idea!
