Hi all

First post - be gentle please.

Arrive at Car in Morning and unlock. Window comes down half-way as expected.

Get in, shut door but window doesn't go back up.

It will go back both by either using the switch on my left hand side or by getting out of the car and locking it.

It's only when getting in and closing the door that it doesn't go back up. No "door open" warnings which I might expect if the window weren't going up.

So, how do I reset the windows please? I know its a case of doing something simple like lowering them and locking and unlocking the car or something similar but I can't remember.

Any/All help appreciated.

Oh, and when I lock up sometimes there are 4 beeps from the alarm system - any ideas what this means please?

Again, thanks

Thank you all very much guys, I think I know what my Saturday is going to be spent doing now, getting into that 3-screw door latch on the pillar.

Thanks again, really didn't expect that much help in one afternoon.

It's an easy thing to prove empirically: I'll try it out over the weekend and report back. smile
That would be great - the alarm system is complete mystery to me.

The alarm instructions are linked in my post above - no reason why they should be a complete mystery.
Cheers!
