My boot don't fit quite right!

I've been going back round the car fixing a few of the niggling issues I've had since a full body off rebuild and I can't for life of me get the boot to fit nicely. On the driver's side the rear boot edge sticks up and there is a sqweeking sound from pressure on the rear windscreen catches.

My thoughts are the rear of the boot is sitting too low and could be shimmed up to make the rear of the boot sit up a bit?

Any ideas or experience welcomed!
