Madness?

This probably stems from my love of Lotus - 'simplify and add lightness'. There's also an element of 'if you don't have it, then it can't break'! laugh

The car is a keeper, so I'm not bothered about what deleting both would do to its 'marketability'. I'd keep the components just in case I ever did sell, so it can be re-fitted.

I wouldn't miss AC. The car is a weekend toy and I live in Scotland! Oh, and the roof comes off! If its hot enough to warrant AC, then the roof is coming off! Thinking about it, the only time I use AC on my daily-driver is to clear the windscreen on damp and cold mornings. I've also owned an Exige and was convinced by the salesman that I HAD to add AC to the order spec as the car would become a furnace. It was a waste of money - yes, it got hot, and no, the roof didn't come off... but the windows open! wink

I need to be a bit more careful about PAS though. I've driven Chimps and Griffs without PAS and really wasn't bothered. When I go out for a 'just-for-the-hell-of-it' drive, I tend not to pootle about at low speed an awful lot - and I steer clear of cities (see what I did there! biggrin). My wife also drives the car, but she's a farmers daughter - I'm sure she'd cope! laugh Still, I'd like to hear opinion - does anyone have a non-PAS Tuscan? How do you get on with it?

Cheers

LOL... I was just thinking about this tread, and lo... fresh replies!

Yes, my burgeoning man-tits could probably do with some perking. So, PAS delete is still an option - or a push-up bra... think it would look quite attractive with my hairy chest! laugh

Griff and Chim guys seem to cope ok. Real men (apparently!). biggrin

Sounds like a great plan, you just need to work out how to get an extruded aluminum chassis in and your good to go smash
I actually have a chassis from Norfolks finest sat next to the Tuscan in my garage. It might fit on the roof!?
