The heater fan has eventually stopped working on my 2003 MK1 Tuscan; for a few years there has been a knack to getting optimum usage, today during a chilly “taps aff” morning run through the Scottish Borders it gave up.
The following applies -
- Temperature control still works, can hear the mechanism working in the driver footwell area as I move the heater dial (though there was always a knack to getting that to move from cold to hot).
- the fan dial lights still illuminate in increments as the dial is rotated, however the fan no longer operates.
Aware it seems to be a common issue however any suggestions on the symptoms above most welcome?
