Passenger footwell carpet

Hi there, I don't suppose anyone has come up with a permanent way of keeping the footwell carpet on the passenger side in place (the bit that hides the bulkhead). I have used a spray glue and velcro over the years and as soon as the weather heats up so everything comes unstuck so I'm looking at something a bit more permanent! All advice and suggestions gratefully received.

Thanks for the replies …I’ve put some evostick on and will see how I get on. Carpet starting to look a little faded so will re reupholstering in next year or so…interesting to hear that there’s still no ‘fix’ to the footwell problem after all these years 🤔
