Anyone know where to source these 4-pin plugs/sockets from? They're used for speaker wiring. Same pin size as Molex, but different housing (hence not compatible).

Not difficult to fit a new plug of a different design.
Agreed if they were accessible, but one is right at the back of the space where the head unit fits and I couldn't cut the existing plug off without removing the dash.

Personally I never use head unit power as its only rated at 2wrms with a reasonable signal to noise ratio.
Come off the stereo via the rca into a stand alone power amp and you will be amazed.
Also agree, and I have other vehicles with powerful custom audio systems i've installed, but don't want to do that in this case smile

And of course you'll need pins too, male and female, which are around £35 a bag of 100 for each. Good find though, thanks!
