Two articles which were posted several hours ago from at least 2 reliable sources indicating issues with Renault and their financial difficulties at the moment.

This is alarming that we could lose a company on the scale of Renault, but I'm hoping a managerial and financial re-shuffle will sort this out.

I'm sure sadly this will mean the end of their F1 team and Renault may have to look at either selling off it's shares in Nissan and Mitsubishi as well as a decrease in the number of models in their range with talk of losing the Megane, Scenic, Talisman, Espace and Koleos worldwide.

I'm keen to know what's happening as my wife has a brand new Captur S-Model on order which is now in the UK and due into the dealership next week for PDI.

Renault can't put all of this down to COVID-19 though, their range is poor with the Megane being a flop, pulling the plug on the once popular Scenic, no new Espace or Laguna(Tailsman) here and an shift towards SUV. The current RS range is too expensive and in some areas far behind it's rivals.

The Alliance isn't working as strong as it should or in anyway like VAG and the ongoing saga of Carlos Ghosn in Japan still lingering.

Could Renault disappear without the help of the French Government?
