Having recently adjusted the throttle, throttle pots, and balanced the flow etc i found the throttle linage bar to be rubbish.

So because of this i am going to be making some new ones, using stainless steel.

They will consist of a proper left hand thread and right hand thread. and hex bar in the centre to help with adjustment if a spanner is needed. will be able to be used with the existing ball joints or rose joints that i have recently upgraded to.

Will be using 5mm threaded bar so the same as the original but offer better adjustment and more secure from coming undone like mine did as i had to remove one of the lock nuts to get the adjustment needed.

i have enough material for about three, one being for myself so have two to offer here.

£25 posted. first come first served.

Well have made them, got enough material for two of the short ones for the 4.5

I've made the rods shorter to allow for better adjustment. The 4.2 rod is 300mm and the 4.5 is 130, although that may need adjusting as i measured mine on the car and couldn't get to it properly.

All will be rose jointed. Going to look into aluminum instead of stainless. Both have there advantages and disadvantages.

Did look at titanium but bit expensive.

Those that have put rose joints? Is that just rose joints or complete. I ask as the ones I order are left and right handed with the bar being correct for the two joints.

Managed about two hours on the lathe last night, well more the small hours of this morning.

I will be getting them anodized, Does any one have any preference on colour? Was thinking red, orange something bright which always goes well in an engine bay.

They are all now made. Just waiting on a rose joint after one consumed a tap. So should be with everyone come end of the week, beginning of next.

I don't have a couple of addresses but will email those tomorrow once back with my laptop.

I have over sized the threaded rod in length. That is for the individual to cut down to size as each car is different.

Unfortunately yes. But if there is enough interest I can make another smaller batch.

If I you really want one then I can for £50 due to having to order less items compared to the bulk of before.
